Ranikhet is 1 hr 50 min (59.4 km) via Ranikhet Road and NH109 from Naukuchiatal.

We drove up to Ranikhet by private cars with my family and friends, it’s was a beautiful drive you will fall in love with the green views all way long. Narrow roads crossing the village houses, We reached Ranikhet in 2 hours,

We relaxed and had lunch at a small dhaba on the way, Egg Maggi was the best meal we had quickly and then went to see few local sightseeing places around. Ranikhet has a small market place where you can shop local items or find good restaurants with good food. See list of places listed below to see around. We just saw Golf Course and Theme Park for kids to do boating due to lack of time.

If you have time then you can go to Almora also from there and drive back to Naukuchiatal by late evening bust i would not suggest as it would be a tiring journey unless you plan to stayover in Almora .
